Posted in Thanksgiving Series on November 11, 2007 by pdonoTre’, my oldest was staying the Night @ his Nana’s & Papa’s last night. 10pm comes along and the phone rings as I’m reading a little Luke. “Daddy I miss you and I want to come home” I closed my bible grabbed the keys and left to get him. Needless to say I woke up this morning still holding him.
Elisha, Oh Elisha! After having Tre’ I found myself asking the question that I suppose every parent of more than one child has probably asked. How in the world is it possible for me to love a second child as much as the first? I know it sounds cheesy but nevertheless. Even though you can’t quite read this yet, you’ve made it easy! One look can melt the heart of a dad & you’ve melted mine countless times.
So to continue the current train of thought in regards to the things that I’m most thankful for. Today is dedicated to…

Ramblings…
Posted in blogging, life on November 5, 2007 by pdonoLike I said before I’m addicted (again excuse the negative connotation) to reading blogs. There’s just something about hearing the voice of God through other people in the context of life. I’ve noticed something interesting. The best of the bloggers out there seem to flow in a certain direction with their writing. Some Apostolic Bloggers have even put together whole series of posts discussing the topic of having a “Vision for your Blog!” I completely agree and can even see this for myself eventually. This brings me to my point, since coming back and cleaning up all of the old posts are starting this blog out fresh. (new design coming by the way) I was looking at my tag line “Caffeine Induced Ramblings” when the word Ramblings caught my eye.

I’ve definitely learned a lot having kids. With two boys that are similar in so many ways yet different on so many other levels. There is one thing that will always remain consistent BOYS WILL BE BOYS! & I think you know what I mean…
